Jeans for Genes is a UK Children’s Charity that aims to change the world for children with genetic disorders.
Jeans for Genes® is an annual fundraising event started by the CGD Research Trust. We are very proud of it! This year it takes place on 1 October 2010.
Please ask your colleagues at work or the children at school to wear their jeans on the Day and make a donation. Just visit www.jeansforgenesday.com to sign up.
Jeans for Genes® provides funding for the care and support of children with genetic disorders. They also help to fund research into genetics and the development of effective treatments and cures. Each year they offer funding to a range of charities.
Please ask everyone you know to log on to www.jeansforgenes.com and sign up. Whether they are at work or at school there is lots on the JeansforGenes® website to make it easy to take part.
Please make a difference - to us and to the many thousands of children affected by genetic disorders in the UK.
Can you
- persuade your school or worksplace to join in?
- become a schools speaker?
- be a media volunteer and share your story, if you are affected by CGD? (please contact us and tell us)
- buy J4G merchandise?
- hold your own J4G fundraising event?
Whatever you do have a great time and don't forget to tell us all about it!
